Welcome – to the Great Budworth village website! 2

Great Budworth is a village and civil parish in the ceremonial county of Cheshire and Until 1948, Great Budworth was part of the Arley Hall estate. This website is designed for the community by the community to be a hub of information for everything to do with Great Budworth. We have a events calendar and notice board and links to all of the local clubs and community groups. The site is still a ‘work in progress’ – and will be for some time. This is because we want to develop Great Budworth’s website incrementally.  This is mainly because we want to incorporate the views and wishes of our community, but it’s also because we believe that slow and considered development will result in a more robust website.   So, we ask for your patience as it evolves into a resource to serve our community.

In order to populate the site with relevant and useful information – we need your input – so please feel free to contact us (using this link )with your comments and suggestions.Whilst in development, there will be times over the next few months when the site may be offline, but once the basics are in place then it should be an easily accessible source of information with an interactive Great Budworth Events Diary; one where the various societies and organisations can post events and avoid potential clashes!

As you will see, there is an initial list of clubs, societies and organisations who might want a stake in the website, but if yours is missing and you want to be included then please let us know.
