Local Transport Plan – your last chance to have a say

A new local transport plan – we need your views.

Cheshire West and Chester Council are working on a new Local Transport Plan. This plan looks at how people and goods move around the borough – whether that’s by bus, train, bike, car, walking, wheels or other ways. It’s all about how we can make transport work better for everyone.

We are currently consulting on the first part of the plan – which we’re calling the Core Strategy. This sets out the overarching policies that will guide how we tackle transport issues and develop plans for different types of transport, such as bus and car, and different parts of the borough, such as rural areas.

We want to understand your level of support for the ideas and priorities we’ve set out. There is still time to have your say before the consultation closes on 17 August 2025.

Thank you to those who have already taken part, your views really do shape what happens next.
